i am doing my essay for social context class on fri..however i just had to stop and type this entry..something has been bugging me ever since sun..
last week was the holidays week..it was great seriously..upon returning home from trekking i actually went to the zoo with my gesl group mates on monday..going with 9 other people that u do not know very well is not easy..however we actually had a relatively good time at the zoo..i'm not sure bout the rest but i sure did..it has been long since i went to the zoo and i was proud to find that the giraffes are back..it was a happy outing for most of us.. for the rest of the days i either stayed home to complete my dreaded assignments or went to meet various ppl including nafa classmates..it was a good and happy week..i had a very eventful time on sat as well..had dinner with choons n xb and went for drinks with choons where we talk bout anything n everything..glad that an upcoming trip is on the way n looking forward to it..had an interesting talk with choons bout something else also and well it was just nice sitting there, being carefree and talking..i luv it.. on sunday upon switching on my phone, i receive an sms from one of my gesl group member..apparently one of my group members pass away on sat..he was knocked down by a drunk driver who was driving at that time..i was shocked and for a second i pondered whether this might be a prank..however it couldn't be..i was sadden by the news the whole day..i'm not exactly very close to this particular person..however we just went to the zoo the same week and something like that has to happen..the fun, joy and laughter will not be heard anymore in our thurs meetings..it had me to think that life is really just so fragile..one min someone is there and the next he/she is not..how do we live our life? are we going to live a life full of regrets or a life full of surprises and fulfilment..sun night was a torture..couldn't sleep and toss and turn for 6 hours..it does not help that he stays near my hall, just a different block..he being the 'clown' of our group will no longer be there..despite the short time we had at the zoo, i am glad to know him as a friend..

who says living in hostel is easy..there are fun times but there are many unpleasant times also.
